An unusual fusion of ‘Rustic’ and ‘Opulent’, to create a living space that is an organic blend of two contrasting tastes, was what this residential project was all about.

Client wanted a tastefully done, spacious living space that has a warm and comfortable feel, as well as showcases their sense of aesthetics and status.

The husband and wife had different, as a matter of fact, quite contrary tastes in interiors. Husband liked ‘Rustic’ and wife wanted ‘Opulent’, with none of them seemingly inclined to concede to the other’s preferences.

Designed the whole place with clearly defined spaces, each having their own ‘Feel’. The husband’s domain, his ‘Den’ made rustic, while the master bedroom was made Contemporary with rustic flooring, but fused with Opulent elements like a dull gold leafed classic coffee table, a slightly shimmered headboard, etc. The living room was made semi-formal with rustic elements like a sleeper wood dining table top with mirrored legs. Basically the entire house designed in a way where Rustic blends into Opulent seamlessly.

Created a showroom space for an in-house boutique for the lady of the house in white with period furniture.
